Quantcast

It was out for a while, but Nikon’s new D300 with the Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED-IF AF-S VR DX Zoom Lens is now back in stock at Amazon as a kit. A note of caution to you potential D300 dSLR Dads: the price seems to fluctuate wildly on this one (no matter where you shop). In fact, it has stayed at the expected street price of $1800 only briefly during the past month. Before you buy, make sure that the kit price is cheaper than buying the lens.

You can check out all Nikon D300 dSLR options here at both Amazon and B&H Photo. I’ve also created a condensed Amazon store-front to make it easier for you dSLR Dad’s. You can find the Nikon store here.

Update 12/26/2007: Now, Amazon itself is (finally) listing the D300 body at the $1799 street price. You can also Save $150.00 on Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Lens when you purchase 1 or more Nikon D300 or D3 DSLRs offered by Amazon or B&H Photo. There must be a shipment coming in, because B&H is taking orders again.
