Black Friday 2008: Best Buy dSLR Doorbuster Specials
Posted by: The dSLR Dad in News & CommentaryThis year’s Black Friday ads are beginning to pop-up around the internets. The only question that remains for any dSLR Dad:
Will I be able to find a good deal standing in line when it’s dark and freezing cold outside, or should I just order online?
Best Buy is offering two different Nikon D40 and Canon EOS Rebel XSi dSLR camera combinations for sale. For comparison, I have included both Amazon.com and B&H Photo Video prices at the time of this publication:
| Best Buy | Amazon.com | B&H Photo | |

As you can see from the table above, Best Buy offers no benefit to standing in line when it comes to their Friday Doorbusters. In fact, if you ‘evaluated’ Amazon Prime, you would get FREE and fast two-day shipping for the next month.
Also, Best Buy really doesn’t have any good memory card deals. I would suggest either the Transcend 8GB Class 6 SDHC Memory Card (Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging) for under $15 or the SanDisk 8GB Extreme III SDHC Flash Card
